Bobbi Kristina Brown suffered two miscarriages, according to her grieving boyfriend Nick Gordon.

The wannabe gym owner, who was 17 when he first fell in love with Whitney Houston’s 14-year-old daughter, has opened up about his girlfriend’s struggles, which led to a near-drowning incident at their home in Roswell, Georgia in January 2015.

Brown was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub and taken to a nearby hospital, where she was placed in a medically induced coma. She never regained consciousness and died in July.

Gordon tells Daily Mail Online he was planning to marry his girlfriend after she sought help for her addiction issues.

“After her mom had passed she would use drugs to numb the pain she was feeling,” he tells the outlet. “She started taking pain pills and Xanax and self-harming. You could see the scars on her arms… People started suggesting rehab but she was resistant, addicts are always resistant. She was mixing drugs.

“She was often depressed. We had a couple of miscarriages. We would have loved to have a kid but we weren’t planning on it yet and she was just such a young, fragile person it took a toll on her.”

Gordon also clears up reports suggesting he and Brown were husband and wife, revealing they went to get married once, but the registration line was too long.

“It’s what Bobbi Kristina wanted,” he adds. “She wanted to tell people we were married… We nearly got married one time. We went to the courthouse but the line was too long and we had a family reunion to get to in Florida. I said, ‘Baby, we got to hit the road.’ I wish I had just waited that 30 minutes and done it.”

Nine months after her death, Gordon admits he’s still struggling with the fact his girlfriend is gone.

“I can’t move on from Krissy,” the 26-year-old says. “She’s got a super special place in my heart. I don’t want to move on from that. I think she’s with me every day… I speak to her all the time. I have to. It keeps me sane.”
