Kaley Cuoco: ‘I Hate Working With Kids!’
“I hope they don’t have a baby. I don’t like working with kids. I like kids but I just don’t want to work with them,” Cuoco laughed during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night. “Babies are really tough to work with. People carry them in, they are the biggest divas you could possibly have around. They’re carried in, they only work like six minutes. Guess what, I’d only like to work for six minutes – I think that’s obnoxious!” “They make any sounds that they want – they talk, they cry. I would like to cry once in a while but as an adult we can’t do that. I just feel like babies can do whatever the hell they want and I don’t think that’s fair so I don’t want to work with them.” The Big Bang Theory is about to wrap its ninth season, and Cuoco has become very close to the character of Penny since the show began in 2007. In fact, their personalities are also similar, as Cuoco explained to Colbert. “I’ve definitely lived with her for five years,” she said. “I love actually, for real, that they’ve given her such a voice, that she can be sarcastic with these guys. She’s very outspoken, I’m outspoken too – it’s gotten me in trouble before.” Cuoco’s appearance on the show came after she finalized her divorce from tennis player Ryan Sweeting on Friday. According to TMZ, Cuoco protected her fortune thanks to a pre-nuptial agreement, with Sweeting, 28, reportedly walking away with just $165,000.
