Keanu Reeves Shows Off Sick Gun Skills During Prep for ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’
You might want to stay out of Keanu Reeves way. You’ll heed that advice after seeing the Hollywood actor prove his shooting skills in John Wick weren’t all smoke and effects. On Thursday, Taran Tactical Innovations, a gun store located in California, released a video of the 51-year-old actor training for the upcoming sequel to the cult action film and the actor proves he knows his way around a firing range.
In the video, Reeves can be seen firing an assault rifle, before quickly switching to a pistol, then finally a 12-gauge shotgun as he blasts target after target in sight. Reeves four months of training in gun handling and martial arts have clearly paid dividends. Nearly five million viewers have been wowed by the footage so far. “Keanu and the guys at [87eleveN Action Design] are putting in WORK!” Taran Tactical shared on their YouTube page. So what can audiences expect from John Wick: Chapter 2? “For us it was just what is the next chapter? What is the continuation of this story?” Reeves shared with IGN. “Opening up the world – the underground world. The world behind the world in terms of the assassins. Kind of evolving the action – if the first one was a black belt, then this one is third degree black belt. It’s such a fun project and a great character.” Check out the video below to see Reeves in action! John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters Feb. 10, 2017.
