New Flexible Material Can Turn Any Surface Into a Solar Panel

According to their website, perovskites are more efficient at absorbing light than silicon and is cheaper and flexible. The perovskites material is lightweight and even works with artificial sources of light. Saule Technologies co-owner Artur Kupczunas discussed how the material can be used by normal consumers. “You can put it directly to the windows because we can make semi-transparent cells. You can put it in the applications that weren’t able to put regular silicon-based solar cells,” Kupczunas stated.
