Rock superstars Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and the Rolling Stones are among the acts confirmed for a new California music festival. The legends will play gigs at the Empire Polo Club, the site of the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals, from October 7 to 9.
Other acts scheduled to perform at the event, called Desert Trip, are Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who. Plans for the festival were officially announced in a post on Facebook, which linked to a website promoting Desert Trip.
