Special Harness Allows Owners to Know Their Fido’s Emotions
Lifestyle| | By Robin Milling
In a Facebook video from Vocativ, Inupathy claims to be the first wearable device containing a small sensor that monitors your dog’s heart rate. LED lights show different colors on an oblong-shaped display, taking all the guesswork out of your dog’s desires. So you’re walking in the park and suddenly they spot another dog coming their way the heart lights up red; your dog is excited! You’re sitting on the bench with man’s best friend beside you and it turns blue; they’re nice and relaxed. Or they’re concentrating on that treat you’ve given them; the heart turns white. The ultimate light for any proud dog owner is a multi-colored rainbow because then you can be sure your pet is happy. And if you’re not constantly looking at their technicolor harness, you can track their every emotion on the paired mobile app. We all love our dogs, but do we really need some silly lights to let us know what they’re feeling 24/7? Inupathy thinks so and they’re asking for your money, having raised 40% of their $30,000 goal. But there is a disclaimer: tail wagging will let you know how your dog is feeling in the meantime!
